Madrid-based Algori has raised €3.6M in new growth funding, bringing its total investment to €7.5M as it pushes to modernise how the global FMCG sector captures and analyses shopper behaviour.

The round includes Red Bull Ventures, Tech Transfer Agrifood (Clave Capital), Co-Invest Capital, AttaPoll, and Firstpick, alongside returning investors Shilling, Flashpoint, and Change Ventures. Jared Schrieber, co-founder of InfoScout, also joins as an industry expert supporting the company’s next phase.

Shopper Data Needs Outpacing Traditional Panels

FMCG manufacturers and retailers rely on precise behavioural data to inform distribution, pricing, promotions, innovation and category strategy. Yet conventional shopper panels—typically based on a few thousand households—struggle to deliver SKU-level depth, speed, or broad category visibility.

Algori takes a fundamentally different approach by collecting data directly from consumer receipts across physical and digital purchases. Its proprietary AI engine classifies each item at SKU level, providing granular insights by retailer, channel, category, and shopper profile without needing retailer integrations.

The platform enables analysis of complete baskets, pricing by store, cross-shopping behaviour, leakage patterns, and assortment impacts, offering a level of detail difficult to achieve with legacy panel methodologies.

Industry Adoption Marks A Turning Point

CEO Andrius Juozapaitis says shopper-insight infrastructure is undergoing a major shift as FMCG organisations demand fresher, richer and more scalable datasets:
“Our approach combines AI, scale, and recency to deliver clarity no traditional panel can match. The fact that FMCG companies themselves are investing shows how urgently the industry needs high-frequency, SKU-level visibility across Europe and beyond.”

Fueling International Expansion And AI Product Growth

The new capital will accelerate Algori’s launch in Poland, Germany, and France, with plans to expand into Latin America next. The company will also deepen its panel capabilities through broader behavioural data capture and roll out additional AI-powered insight tools tailored to the evolving needs of brands and retailers.
