Stockholm-based AI startup Agaton has raised nearly $10 million in total Seed funding, reflecting the latest USD/SEK exchange rate at market close. The company is emerging from stealth with strong early traction, already processing more than 4 million customer calls for major enterprises including Telenor and Telia.

The Seed round was co-led by Inception Fund and Alstin Capital, with participation from seed + speed Ventures and Foundry Ventures. The round also attracted prominent founders and operators including Peter Sarlin of Silo AI, Kieran Flanagan of HubSpot and Sequoia Scout, Sebastian Knutsson of King, Lukas Saari of Tandem Health, and angel investor Guillermo Flor.

Founded in Stockholm, Agaton is building an agentic AI platform designed to turn vast volumes of enterprise customer conversations into structured revenue intelligence for sales and service teams.

Turning Customer Conversations Into Revenue Intelligence

Enterprises generate millions of customer interactions across sales and customer service every day. Much of this data remains unstructured and underutilized, often reduced to surface-level metrics or basic transcription.

Agaton’s platform analyzes conversations at scale, detecting subtle sentiment shifts, identifying real-time buying signals, and automating workflows that drive revenue growth and retention. By correlating qualitative and quantitative insights across interactions, the system enables enterprises to uncover upsell opportunities, tailor offerings dynamically, and improve decision-making across the organization.

Unlike traditional conversation intelligence tools that focus primarily on call transcription, Agaton’s AI engine is built to understand how customers speak, not just what they say. It identifies churn risk, surfaces revenue opportunities, delivers AI-powered coaching to frontline teams, and automates quality and sales assurance processes.

Early enterprise users report significant performance improvements, including doubled sales conversions for top-performing teams and faster deal cycles supported by 24/7 AI guidance.

Rapid Traction Across Nordic Enterprises

In just over a year since its founding, Agaton has secured millions in signed annual recurring revenue. The platform now supports leading Nordic enterprises across telecom, financial services, and utilities, including Telenor, Telia, Lendo, and Axo Finans. It has also partnered with Foundever, one of the world’s largest business process outsourcing providers, with 150,000 agents globally.

To date, Agaton has:

Analyzed over 4 million customer calls
Driven significant improvements in sales hit rates, with some teams doubling conversions
Added measurable incremental revenue through automated revenue mining
Reduced quality assurance handling time by up to 80 percent
Helped customer service teams shift from cost centers to revenue-generating functions
Achieved sevenfold year-on-year revenue growth

Built For Human And AI Collaboration

Agaton’s platform is designed for hybrid workforces where human agents and AI systems collaborate seamlessly. The solution integrates into existing enterprise technology stacks while maintaining strict enterprise-grade security and data sovereignty standards.

The company does not collect, store, or sell customer data. Instead, it enables organizations to unlock value from their own conversational data while retaining full ownership and control.

With the new funding, Agaton plans to accelerate its go-to-market expansion, enhance its AI capabilities, more than double its team size, and establish additional global hubs to serve its growing international client base.

CEO and co-founder Andreas Kullberg stated that the company’s mission is to help enterprises achieve AI-powered sales superiority, enabling smarter, more effective teams through real-time intelligence derived from everyday customer interactions.
