On Friday, June 2nd, Amsterdam’s Cargoroo, a provider of shared electric cargo bikes, revealed that it has successfully raised €1.1M through a crowdfunding campaign on the Oneplanetcrowd platform. This achievement was made possible by the support of 543 funders.

Commencing the campaign with the goal of collecting €2M, the Dutch company embarked on an endeavor to secure financial support.

Cargoroo intends to utilize the raised funds to facilitate its expansion into new cities across Germany and Belgium, driving the company’s growth and reach.

Back in December 2022, the Amsterdam-based startup successfully raised €10M from notable investors, including Participatiefonds Duurzame Economie Noord-Holland (PDENH), The Sharing Group, Fairtree Elevant Ventures, among others, contributing to the company’s growth trajectory.
