Triomics, a healthcare AI startup focused on oncology, has raised $22 million in Series B funding to expand its platform for cancer centers and healthcare providers.
The round was led by Battery Ventures, with participation from existing investors including Nexus Venture Partners, Lightspeed, Y Combinator, and other backers.
Founded in 2021, Triomics develops AI-powered software designed specifically for oncology teams, helping clinicians and administrative staff automate complex, data-intensive workflows across cancer care.
Helping Oncologists Manage Growing Data Complexity
Advances in cancer treatment are helping patients live longer, but they are also generating increasingly complex medical records that require significant time and effort to review.
Cancer patient records often contain thousands of pages of information, including physician notes, pathology reports, imaging results, laboratory data, and historical documentation accumulated over many years.
Triomics uses artificial intelligence to analyze and structure this information, allowing care teams to access relevant insights more efficiently and make faster clinical decisions.
From Clinical Trial Matching To AI-Powered Workflows
The company initially focused on helping oncologists identify suitable clinical trial opportunities for patients. As AI capabilities evolved, Triomics expanded its platform to support a broader range of clinical and operational workflows.
Its technology now generates verified patient summaries, streamlines appointment preparation, and surfaces critical information directly within existing clinical systems. This reduces administrative workload and enables physicians to spend more time with patients.
The platform is also used to automate regulatory reporting requirements, including the submission of tumour data to government cancer registries.
Built Specifically For Oncology
Unlike general-purpose AI tools, Triomics has developed models trained specifically on oncology data and workflows.
The company says this specialised approach enables greater accuracy and relevance for cancer care teams managing highly complex patient cases.
Its technology is already being used by leading institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Yale Cancer Center.
Rapid Growth Across Healthcare Providers
Triomics reports strong momentum over the past year, with its enterprise customer base increasing fourfold and annual recurring revenue growing tenfold.
The newly raised capital will be used to further develop the platform, expand commercial operations, and accelerate adoption across cancer centers and healthcare systems.
According to Sarim Khan, co-founder of Triomics, the company’s mission is to reduce administrative burden across oncology care while helping clinicians focus more of their time on patient outcomes.
