
London-based beauty and wellness platform Fresha has secured €68.9 million ($80 million) in growth funding from funds managed by KKR, pushing the company’s valuation beyond €861.9 million ($1 billion) and officially placing it among the UK’s newest unicorns.
The investment increases Fresha’s total funding to approximately €245.5 million ($285 million).
Expanding AI Infrastructure For Beauty And Wellness Businesses
Founded in 2015 by William Zeqiri and Nick Miller, Fresha operates a marketplace and business management platform serving the global beauty, wellness, and self-care industry.
The company allows consumers to discover, book, and pay for appointments across categories including hair, beauty, barbering, fitness, aesthetics, wellness, and spa services.
For businesses, Fresha provides an integrated operating system covering appointment scheduling, payments, marketing, customer engagement, and operational management.
The platform is currently used by more than 130,000 businesses worldwide and supports over 35 million monthly appointments, generating more than $15 billion in annual gross merchandise value.
Strong Global Growth Across Multiple Markets
The company has established major market positions across the UK and Ireland while also building a significant presence in Australasia and the Gulf region. The company is continuing to expand across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
According to the company, Fresha currently operates at a revenue run-rate exceeding $140 million while remaining profitable and growing more than 60% year over year.
The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate international expansion and invest further into AI-driven tools and product development.
KKR invested through its Next Generation Technology Growth strategy, which focuses on scaling high-growth technology businesses globally.
