Ghent-based Exhibitly has secured €1.4 million in pre-seed funding to expand its AI-powered platform designed to improve conversion and engagement for B2B event organisers.

The round was led by New School VC, with participation from 100IN, Allusion Ventures, and several angel investors including Louis Jonckheere, Jeroen De Wit, Pieter Vanermen, and Tanguy Serraes.

The company plans to use the funding to grow its team, accelerate product development, and expand internationally.

Bringing Personalisation To Event Websites

Founded by Hendrik Franck and Brent Coppens, Exhibitly is focused on solving one of the biggest challenges in the global trade show industry: low conversion rates on event websites.

The startup estimates that around 35,000 trade shows are organised globally each year, with organisers spending millions on digital marketing campaigns to attract attendees. However, many event websites still provide the same generic experience to every visitor regardless of industry, role, or intent.

Exhibitly adds an AI-powered personalisation layer to existing event websites. Visitors enter details such as their company and job title, and the platform generates a tailored mini-site highlighting the most relevant sessions, exhibitors, and speakers within seconds.

According to the company, around 30% of users who interact with the platform proceed to registration pages, significantly outperforming traditional event website conversion rates.

Built Without Complex Integrations

A core part of Exhibitly’s positioning is ease of deployment. The platform automatically analyses and enriches event website content using AI without requiring complex integrations or technical implementation work from organisers.

“An event website is often the most important marketing asset an organiser has, yet most still offer a one-size-fits-all experience,” said Hendrik Franck, co-founder and CEO of Exhibitly.

“If visitors cannot immediately understand why an event matters specifically to them, they leave before registering.”

From Failed Product To Global Expansion

Before launching Exhibitly, the founders previously built ReadyEvent, a project management platform for event planners developed through the Start it @KBC programme.

After struggling to gain traction, the team pivoted several times before arriving at the current product.

In less than a year, Exhibitly says it has signed 114 events globally, working with organisers including Informa, Easyfairs, Hyve Group, and Dubai World Trade Centre.

The company now supports events across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Expanding Into Event Intelligence

Alongside its current offering for event organisers, Exhibitly is also developing a second product aimed at exhibiting companies.

The new platform will target the millions of businesses that exhibit at trade shows annually, expanding Exhibitly’s positioning beyond website personalisation into broader event intelligence and lead generation infrastructure.

The startup plans to grow its team from three to seven employees as it scales operations.

“Our ambition goes beyond improving event websites,” said Franck. “We want to build the global reference platform for B2B event intelligence.”
