Wenite, a HR tech startup, has raised €1.8 million to strengthen its position in the European market and expand its platform for HR service providers.

The round includes €1.2 million in equity funding from Imec.iStart, alongside participation from private investors active in the HR sector. The company plans to use the capital to expand commercially and target a market of around 20,000 HR service providers across Europe.

What The Company Does

Founded in 2021 by Jasper Dezwaef (CEO), Emiel Cracco (CTO), and Robin Vannieuwenhuijse (CISO), Wenite builds infrastructure for HR consultants and service providers who manage employee development, wellbeing, and organisational strategy on behalf of client companies.

The platform replaces fragmented tools such as spreadsheets, documents, and survey forms with a unified system that combines data collection, CRM functionality, client trajectory management, and AI-driven analysis of employee data.

HR consultants can centralise all client and employee information in a single system and use dashboards to share insights directly with end clients. This allows organisations to track progress in real time and makes HR programmes more measurable and transparent.

Wenite also automates key HR workflows such as surveys, reporting, and employee follow-ups, helping consultants reduce manual work while improving consistency and scalability of services.

The system is designed as a white-label infrastructure layer, enabling HR service providers to operate their own branded client environments while relying on Wenite’s underlying platform.

Market context / industry background

HR service providers play a central role in workforce strategy across Europe, with a significant share of organisations relying on external consultants for employee development, wellbeing programmes, and organisational advice.

Despite handling large volumes of employee data, many providers still rely on disconnected tools that limit their ability to analyse information at scale. This creates inefficiencies in tracking outcomes, measuring impact, and managing client relationships consistently across programmes.

As HR services become increasingly data-driven, demand is growing for platforms that centralise information and enable more structured, measurable service delivery.

In addition, there is a growing need for interoperability between HR systems and enterprise software used by client organisations. This allows for more seamless data exchange and reduces manual reporting efforts. As expectations around transparency and accountability increase, providers are also under pressure to demonstrate clear ROI for their services using reliable, standardised metrics.

Founder commentary

Jasper Dezwaef, CEO of Wenite, said HR service providers are often constrained by a lack of centralised systems, which makes it difficult to scale their services or generate consistent insights from the data they collect.

He noted that much of the work involved in employee tracking, coaching, and performance follow-up remains manual and subjective, limiting the ability to measure outcomes effectively.

Emiel Cracco, CTO of Wenite, added that the platform is designed specifically around the needs of HR service providers, enabling them to automate key parts of their service delivery and build long-term client relationships through continuous, structured data.

Growth plans / use of funds

Wenite will use the new funding to accelerate its commercial expansion across Europe and strengthen its sales organisation with additional commercial hires.

The company plans to scale its customer base beyond its current network of around 25 HR consultants, with a strategic focus on reaching approximately 20,000 potential clients across the European market.

It will also continue to expand its platform capabilities, supporting deeper analytics, improved automation, and broader adoption across HR service workflows.
