Realm has raised $4.5 million in seed funding to accelerate enterprise sales cycles through AI automation. The round was led by Frontline Ventures, with participation from HubSpot Ventures, Cal Henderson, and Alex Bouaziz.

The company is building an AI-driven platform that structures enterprise knowledge to streamline complex revenue workflows such as RFPs, security questionnaires, and business case generation.

What The Company Does

Realm develops AI agents designed to support enterprise revenue teams by automating document-heavy and time-intensive sales processes. These include responses to RFPs, security questionnaires, and strategic business proposals that are typically assembled manually from multiple internal sources.

The platform works by converting fragmented business data into a structured model of a company’s market position, products, pipeline, and strategy. This structured layer allows AI systems to generate accurate, context-aware outputs that reflect real-time organisational knowledge.

Unlike software engineering workflows, where AI tools can rely on structured code, revenue operations are often dependent on dispersed information across CRM systems, internal documents, and communication tools. Realm addresses this gap by unifying these inputs into a single operational context that AI agents can use directly.

Market Context / Industry Background

Enterprise sales teams continue to rely heavily on manual processes despite widespread adoption of digital tools across other business functions. Key workflows such as procurement responses and compliance documentation remain fragmented, slow, and resource-intensive.

At the same time, the rise of AI coding tools has demonstrated how structured environments can significantly improve productivity. In contrast, revenue operations have lacked comparable systems that convert unstructured business data into usable context for automation.

As enterprises increase their focus on efficiency and deal velocity, there is growing demand for tools that reduce administrative workload and allow sales teams to focus more on customer engagement and deal execution.

In addition, companies are increasingly prioritising data centralisation to improve visibility across the entire sales pipeline. This includes integrating communication data, CRM systems, and external documentation into unified workflows that can be processed more effectively by AI systems. As a result, automation in revenue operations is shifting from isolated task support toward end-to-end workflow orchestration, enabling faster decision-making and more consistent execution across teams and geographies.

Founder / Investor Commentary

Mikko Mäntylä, CEO of Realm, drew parallels between the evolution of AI tools in software development and their emerging role in revenue teams. He noted that developers have already adopted AI-driven workflows that involve orchestrating multiple agents, and a similar shift is now beginning in enterprise sales.

He explained that Realm is designed to support this transition by embedding structured company context directly into everyday workflows. According to Mäntylä, this enables teams to automate critical deliverables while continuously improving output quality through feedback loops.

He also highlighted that a significant portion of outputs generated through Realm are accepted without modification, with user edits feeding back into the system to strengthen its knowledge base over time.

Growth Plans / Use Of Funds

The new capital will be used to scale Realm’s operations, expand its engineering and product teams, and further develop its AI capabilities for enterprise revenue workflows. The company plans to deepen integrations with tools such as CRM platforms, Slack, and AI assistants to embed structured context more seamlessly into existing systems.

Realm is also focused on improving the performance and reliability of its agents as demand grows for automated support in high-stakes sales processes such as enterprise bids and procurement documentation.
