Blify, a startup focused on integrating employee training into everyday communication tools, has raised $2.1 million in a pre-seed funding round to advance its AI-driven Learning Operating System.
The round was led by AFI Ventures, Ventech’s impact fund, with participation from Kima Ventures, Better Angle, Fair Equity, and more than 50 business angels, including founders and executives from companies such as Alan, Doctolib, JobTeaser, and ABB. The company aims to improve engagement and knowledge retention in workplace training by embedding learning directly into daily workflows.
What The Company Does
Blify develops an AI-native platform that integrates learning into tools employees already use, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp. Instead of relying on standalone learning management systems, the platform delivers training content within existing communication environments.
Its system uses multiple AI agents to analyze contextual data such as employee roles, tasks, and interactions. Based on this information, the platform delivers relevant knowledge at appropriate moments during the workday. This approach is designed to align training with real-time work activities rather than separating it into dedicated sessions.
The platform aims to address common limitations of traditional learning systems, where employees are required to access separate platforms and complete standardized courses that may not be directly connected to their daily responsibilities.
By embedding training into existing workflows, Blify seeks to increase participation rates and improve retention of information over time.
Market Context / Industry Background
Organizations invest significant resources in employee training, yet engagement with traditional learning platforms remains limited. Learning management systems and learning experience platforms often struggle to maintain consistent usage, with participation rates typically low and knowledge retention declining shortly after course completion.
This challenge is partly due to the separation between training environments and daily work processes. Employees are often required to switch contexts, logging into separate systems to complete training that may not feel immediately relevant.
As workplaces increasingly rely on digital communication tools, there is growing interest in integrating learning directly into these environments. AI technologies are enabling more personalized and context-aware training approaches, allowing organizations to tailor content based on individual roles and real-time needs.
Blify’s approach reflects a broader shift toward continuous learning models, where training is delivered incrementally and integrated into everyday tasks rather than structured as isolated programs.
Founder / Investor Commentary
Blify was founded by Clément Lhommeau, Tristan Vié, and Minh-Tu Hua, who bring experience in HR technology and European SaaS companies.
Tristan Vié highlighted the limitations of traditional training systems, noting that engagement remains low because employees are required to interact with separate platforms.
“As trainers, we’ve seen it firsthand: people learn and improve, then forget everything within weeks,” he said. “LMS and LXP platforms barely reach 10 percent monthly engagement. The reason is simple, people don’t want to log into another platform disconnected from their daily work.”
Clément Lhommeau emphasized that the challenge lies in the structure of learning systems rather than the availability of content.
“In a world where skills become obsolete quickly and hiring is increasingly difficult, continuous learning is no longer optional, it is essential,” he said.
Growth Plans / Use Of Funds
The $2.1 million in funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand Blify’s engineering team. The company has spent 2025 developing and testing an initial use case focused on manager training and plans to broaden its platform capabilities in 2026.
Future development will focus on enabling organizations to create, distribute, and manage training programs at scale, supported by AI-driven personalization and automation.
By expanding its platform, Blify aims to position itself as a core infrastructure layer for workplace learning, integrating training directly into widely used communication tools.
