Armadin, a newly launched cybersecurity startup founded by Mandiant creator Kevin Mandia, has raised approximately $189.9 million in combined seed and Series A funding to develop autonomous AI agents designed to detect and respond to cyber threats.
The funding round was led by Accel, with participation from GV, Kleiner Perkins, Menlo Ventures, 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, and In-Q-Tel. The company says the funding represents one of the largest early-stage capital raises for a cybersecurity startup.
