Antwerp-based logistics software startup Vectrix has raised €1.15 million in a seed funding round led by RDY Ventures. The round also included participation from Seeder Fund, PMV, and Germany-based Prequel Ventures.

The company plans to use the capital to expand its team and accelerate its European growth strategy, with an initial focus on Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Tackling Manual Work In Logistics Operations

Transport companies handle hundreds or even thousands of order requests every day, often arriving through emails, spreadsheets, or enterprise systems. Administrative teams must manually enter each request into Transport Management Systems, filling out dozens of fields per order.

This process can take around eight minutes per request and creates both operational inefficiencies and opportunities for human error. At the same time, logistics companies across Europe face persistent shortages of administrative staff for repetitive tasks.

Vectrix was created to address this challenge by automating the entry of transport orders using artificial intelligence.

AI-Powered Order Processing

The platform processes unstructured input from sources such as emails or ERP systems and converts it into structured, validated data that can be transferred directly into Transport Management Systems.

By automating the process, Vectrix reduces order entry time from approximately eight minutes to a maximum of two minutes while minimizing errors.

The system also incorporates contextual learning. It analyzes customer requirements, historical orders, and predefined operational procedures to detect inconsistencies and suggest corrections when needed. This can include identifying unrealistic transport configurations or ensuring correct conditions for specialized shipments such as pharmaceutical goods.

Vectrix operates as a pre-TMS layer within the logistics technology stack, allowing transport companies to integrate the platform with their existing systems while maintaining transparency and human oversight.

Early Adoption And Operational Impact

Founded in 2024 by Dimitri Allaert and Ben Selleslagh, Vectrix is already running pilots with logistics companies.

One early deployment with logistics provider H. Essers has demonstrated the platform’s operational potential, and the system is being rolled out across multiple transport departments.

Since launch, the platform has processed more than 25,000 transport orders, saving approximately 2,500 hours of manual work.

Expanding Across Europe

With the new funding, Vectrix plans to double its team in 2026 by hiring AI engineers, data specialists, and commercial staff.

The company also plans to expand its product capabilities, including deeper integrations with Transport Management Systems and additional automation features.

Over time, Vectrix aims to evolve from an order entry solution into a broader order communication platform that automates the full lifecycle of logistics order management.
