Tingit, a startup building an AI-driven repair marketplace for fashion and electronics, has raised €1.5 million to accelerate expansion across the European Union.

The round was led by Coinvest Capital, with participation from Firstpick, NGL Ventures, and existing investors Heartfelt, BADideas, and Purpose Tech.

Making Repair A Seamless Everyday Habit

Tingit’s platform is designed to make repairing items as simple as online shopping. Users upload a photo or video of a damaged product, and the company’s AI system automatically assesses the issue, matches the item with a suitable repair specialist, and provides an instant price and timeline estimate.

Once confirmed, customers ship their items using parcel lockers and a label generated directly within the platform. Skilled repair professionals then complete the service and return the item.

Founded in 2023, Tingit operates as a global repair platform that connects consumers and businesses with vetted repair specialists at scale. Its AI-powered repair assessment infrastructure is intended to streamline processes across multiple product categories, making high-quality repairs more accessible and efficient.

CEO and co-founder Indrė Viltrakytė stated that the company aims to enable repair offers for even niche items anywhere within the EU. She described Tingit’s broader ambition as becoming a natural part of commercial infrastructure through partnerships with fashion brands and e-commerce platforms, positioning the platform as a “longevity protocol” for consumer goods.

Early Traction Across Multiple Markets

Since launching in 2024, the startup has raised a total of €2.02 million in external funding. The platform expanded from Lithuania into France and now works with more than 100 skilled makers across Lithuania, France, and Poland.

More than 14,000 customers have used Tingit to evaluate items with a combined value exceeding €9 million. Products range from everyday footwear to high-value luxury items, including Hermès handbags.

While shoe and handbag repairs remain the most requested services, demand is increasing for household appliances, audio equipment, eyewear, and luggage.

By extending product lifecycles, Tingit positions itself at the intersection of sustainability and consumer convenience, aiming to reduce overconsumption while preserving the emotional value attached to personal belongings.
