Helsinki-based technology company Agileday has raised €6.4M in Series A funding to accelerate international expansion and further develop its people-centric operating platform for professional services organisations.

The round was led by Newion, with participation from Specialist VC, Vendep Capital, and Business Finland.

Unifying people, projects, and financials in one platform

Agileday develops an AI-powered professional services automation platform that connects talent, resource allocation, timesheets, project delivery, and financial performance in a single operating system. Positioned between CRM and financial tools, the platform synchronises sales pipelines, project execution, and financial data in real time.

By breaking down silos between sales, delivery, and finance, Agileday aims to help professional services firms gain clearer visibility, make faster decisions, and scale more efficiently as automation and AI reshape the sector.

Founded by operators with firsthand experience

Agileday was founded in 2022 by Jaakko Hartikainen, Mikko Virtanen, Jaakko Hallavo, and Hannu Kärkkäinen. The founding team previously worked together at IT services company Tieto, where they encountered the operational challenges that often emerge as professional services organisations grow.

Those experiences shaped Agileday’s focus on transparency, human-centric leadership, and real-time operational insight, which now form the core principles of the platform.

Growing adoption across Europe and North America

The company currently serves more than 70 service companies globally, ranging from fast-growing consultancies to publicly listed enterprises. The company reports threefold year-over-year growth, with strong traction among enterprise clients.

Customers include Apply Digital, Propeller, and The Electric Factory in North America, as well as Knowit, Siili Solutions, and Eficode across Europe.

Scaling internationally with fresh capital

With the new funding, Agileday plans to scale its technology platform and accelerate growth across Europe and North America. The company says demand is driven by professional services firms seeking better ways to align people, delivery, and financial outcomes in increasingly complex operating environments.

Agileday positions its approach as a competitive alternative to legacy management systems, emphasising transparency, trust, and real-time data as key enablers of sustainable growth in modern professional services.
