Mews, a global hospitality technology company, has raised $300M in a Series D funding round to strengthen its position as a leading operating system for hotels and hospitality groups worldwide. The round was led by EQT Growth, with new participation from Atomico and HarbourVest Partners, alongside existing investors Kinnevik, Battery Ventures, and Tiger Global.

The investment values Mews at $2.5B and follows a year of strong operational growth, positioning the company as a major global provider of hospitality software across hotels of all sizes.

Strong platform growth and global adoption

In 2025, Mews reported platform transaction volume of $19.7B and served around 15,000 customers across 85 countries. The platform supported more than 132,000 monthly active hoteliers and processed over 42M checked-in reservations during the year, including millions through its self-service kiosk offering.

The company also reported SaaS gross profit growth of 55% and said its proprietary space management tools helped customers generate more than $537M in additional revenue through non-room bookings such as meeting rooms and flexible spaces.

Expanding AI-driven hotel operations

Mews plans to use the new capital to deepen its investment in artificial intelligence, embedding agent-based automation across the platform. The company aims to reduce operational complexity for hotel staff, improve the guest experience, and accelerate product development through intelligent workflows.

The platform is being positioned to help hospitality operators automate real-time operations, gain deeper insight into guest behaviour, optimise revenue, and scale without relying on legacy systems.

Payments, fintech and international expansion

Beyond core property management capabilities, Mews will continue expanding its payments and fintech infrastructure, embedding transactions directly into hotel operations. The company is positioning itself as a central connector between guest experience and revenue generation.

International expansion remains a priority, with continued focus on North America and Europe, alongside entry into additional markets.

M&A and market leadership

The funding follows Mews’ acquisition of DataChat, a generative AI analytics platform, marking the company’s fourteenth acquisition to date. In January 2026, Mews was ranked the top property management system globally for the third consecutive year and the leading hotel point-of-sale system, based on customer and industry reviews.

With the Series D funding, Mews aims to further define the AI-native future of hospitality software, combining operations, revenue management, and guest experience into a unified global platform.
