Stoïk, a Paris-based insurtech focused on cyber risk protection, has raised €20M in a Series C funding round to support its expansion across the European market. The round was co-led by new investor Impala and existing backer Opera Tech Ventures, with continued participation from Alven and Andreessen Horowitz.

The company provides cyber risk coverage for businesses with revenues of up to €1B, combining insurance with prevention and incident response services.

An integrated model for cyber risk protection

Founded in 2021, Stoïk offers a cyber protection model designed to support companies before, during, and after cyber incidents. Its platform integrates cyber insurance with risk prevention, detection, and in-house incident response, increasingly powered by proprietary AI agents.

The company positions this approach as a way for businesses to limit financial exposure, maintain operations, and recover more quickly from cyberattacks.

Growing footprint across European markets

Stoïk currently operates in France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Austria, and Luxembourg. The company works with more than 2,000 insurance brokers and protects over 10,000 businesses across Europe.

Its team has grown to more than 130 employees, reflecting continued investment in technical, insurance, and response capabilities as demand for cyber coverage increases among small and mid-sized companies.

Funding to support disciplined growth

According to CEO and co-founder Jules Veyrat, the Series C round was structured to support the next phase of growth without exceeding operational requirements. The company plans to use the capital to further scale its existing model while continuing to invest in the AI technologies that underpin its prevention, detection, and response capabilities.

A key focus of the funding will be international expansion, particularly across Central and Southern Europe, alongside continued development of Stoïk’s cybersecurity and insurance offering.

Stoïk aims to strengthen its position as a pan-European provider of integrated cyber risk protection as regulatory pressure and cyber threats continue to rise.
