Berlin-based AI startup GeneralMind has raised €10.2M ($12M) in an equity financing round to develop its autonomous “System of Action,” an operational AI layer designed to sit on top of existing ERP systems.

The company closed the round less than six months after launch, making it one of the largest publicly disclosed European pre-seed rounds in recent years.

The funding was led by Lakestar, Leo Capital, Lucid Capital, Heliad, and BOOOM, with participation from angel investors including Alexander Kudlich, Jens Urbaniak, and Samir Sood.

Automating the operational glue layer in enterprises

GeneralMind is building what it describes as an AI “autopilot” for enterprises, targeting the manual processes that sit between structured ERP systems and unstructured communication channels such as email and spreadsheets. These workflows often rely on human coordination to manage handovers, exceptions, and approvals across supply chains.

The company positions its technology as moving beyond AI copilots, with an autonomous system that executes processes end-to-end under human supervision when required.

From ERP systems to AI-driven execution

Founded in 2025 by the team behind the German unicorn Razor Group, GeneralMind focuses on automating repetitive white-collar workflows across commerce, logistics, and manufacturing. Its platform captures incoming tasks, often received via email, analyses them, and completes them across connected enterprise systems.

The AI System of Action is designed for high-volume environments where deadlines, compliance requirements, and multiple stakeholders must be coordinated efficiently, including areas such as sales operations, procurement, and invoice processing.

Early traction and global footprint

GeneralMind operates from its headquarters in Berlin and a second office in Bangalore, India. According to the company, its technology is already in use by enterprises listed on indices such as NASDAQ, MDAX, and SDAX.

The new funding will support continued product development and scaling as GeneralMind works to replace manual coordination layers in large organisations with autonomous, AI-driven execution.
