Sprouty, an AI-driven parenting assistant offering evidence-based guidance for families with children from birth to age two, has raised $550,000 in seed funding from AltaIR Capital.

The investment will support international expansion, product development, and growth across new markets.

The company has been bootstrapped to more than 1.7 million families worldwide and is now preparing its next phase of global scale.

Addressing Parental Stress In The Early Years

Parenting stress and burnout are increasingly recognised as global challenges, particularly in countries where extended family support is limited. Research spanning more than 40 countries shows higher levels of parental burnout in individualistic societies such as the UK, United States, Canada, and parts of Europe.

The pressure is most intense during the first years of a child’s life, when sleep disruption, new responsibilities, and balancing work and family demands create daily uncertainty. Sprouty was built to help reduce that mental load by offering parents reliable, science-backed support in one place.

An AI Assistant Built Around Evidence-Based Care

Sprouty combines developmental insights, personalised recommendations, and daily micro-exercises designed by pediatricians. The app brings together tracking tools for feeding, sleep, diapers, and routines with milestone guidance and research-backed content.

One of its AI-powered features can predict the likely cause of a baby’s crying with more than 80 percent accuracy, helping parents respond more confidently in stressful moments.

The goal is to replace fragmented solutions with a single, supportive experience that parents can rely on every day.

From Personal Tool To Global Platform

Sprouty was founded by Dmitry Rumbeshta after the birth of his daughter, when he and his family struggled to find reliable and holistic parenting support.

What began as a personal project quickly resonated with other parents. Early versions of the app were built using free tools and initially served a small user base. As adoption grew rapidly, the limitations became clear, revealing widespread unmet demand for comprehensive, trustworthy parenting support.

Today, Sprouty is used by families across Europe, North America, Australia, and Latin America, growing primarily through organic adoption.

Expanding To New Markets And Age Groups

With the new seed funding, Sprouty plans to strengthen its user acquisition efforts, expand into additional international markets, and extend its product to support children from birth to age three.

The company sees the parenting market as continuously renewing, with new parents entering the journey every day and actively seeking guidance they can trust.

Investor Confidence In AI-Driven Consumer Health

AltaIR Capital sees Sprouty as a strong example of how AI can transform consumer health products through personalisation, improved engagement, and sustainable economics.

The firm highlighted the size of the parenting market, the universal nature of the problem Sprouty addresses, and the team’s clear roadmap for future growth as key reasons for the investment.
