Gosta Labs, the Helsinki-based healthtech startup founded by the team behind Kaiku Health, has closed a €7.5 million seed round to accelerate the rollout of its AI operating system for oncology.
The round was led by Voima Ventures, joined by COR Group, the Aho family, Reaktor, and a network of well-known angel investors. Combined with last year’s pre-seed round, the company has raised nearly €10 million to date.
Cancer care is becoming more complex worldwide. With 35+ million annual cases expected by 2050, clinicians face growing workloads, mounting documentation demands, fragmented systems, and increasingly personalized treatment paths—all requiring rapid, high-stakes decision-making.
Gosta Labs aims to streamline this environment with an oncology-focused AI OS that structures every consultation in real time, automates documentation, visualizes patient journeys, and links clinical decisions to international guidelines.
The platform is already deployed at leading healthcare providers across Finland, Switzerland, the Baltics, and Australia.
Early Clinical Data Shows Significant Time Savings
First real-world findings, presented at the ESMO 2025 Congress, show that Gosta’s AI system produces structured oncology consultation notes instantly and auto-classifies key metrics such as Performance Status and CTCAE toxicities.
Oncologists using the system completed follow-up documentation in under two minutes, cutting their administrative workload by more than two-thirds.
