WisdomAI, the fast-growing AI data analytics platform founded by Rubrik co-founder Soham Mazumdar, has secured a $50 million Series A led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from NVentures, Nvidia’s venture arm. The raise follows a $23 million seed round led by Coatue just six months ago.

WisdomAI enables business teams to ask complex questions about their structured, unstructured, and even messy (“dirty”) data using natural language — no cleaning or SQL expertise required. A sales leader might ask: “How many customers are in my pipeline, and what’s stopping them from closing this quarter?”

A novel approach to eliminate LLM hallucinations

Unlike many AI analytics tools, WisdomAI does not use LLMs to generate answers. Instead, LLMs are only used to write the underlying query that runs against a customer’s data warehouse. If an LLM misfires, the result is simply an ineffective query — not an invented answer.

The actual logic powering results comes from WisdomAI’s proprietary “enterprise context layer,” which studies, interprets, and unifies a company’s data. All four co-founders previously worked together at Rubrik, bringing deep experience in enterprise data infrastructure.

Rapid enterprise adoption and explosive internal expansion

Since its public launch in late 2024, WisdomAI has grown from two enterprise customers to around 40, including Descope, ConocoPhillips, Cisco, and Patreon. Usage within customer organizations is also scaling rapidly:

  • One customer doubled usage in two months
  • Another expanded from 10 seats to 450 seats — nearly the entire company

Analytics that act: new agentic monitoring

In the past six months, the startup has rolled out agentic capabilities that monitor business metrics in real time.

Mazumdar created an agent to watch product usage and support tickets:

“It took me about five minutes to set up,” he said. “Instead of getting hourly reports, it only alerts me when something interesting happens.”

He added:

“Analytics has always been static. We’re making it dynamic and proactive.”

With fresh capital and early enterprise traction, WisdomAI is positioning itself as a category leader in automated, context-aware analytics for the modern data stack.
