Space technology company EnduroSat has raised $104 million in fresh funding to accelerate the production of its next-generation small satellites and make access to space data faster and more affordable.
The round was led by Riot Ventures, with participation from Google Ventures (GV), Lux Capital, the European Innovation Council Fund, and Shrug Capital.
Scaling Space Manufacturing from Bulgaria
Founded in 2015, EnduroSat designs, builds, and operates advanced small satellites and modules that simplify and accelerate the deployment of space missions for commercial, government, and research organizations.
The funding coincides with the opening of the company’s new Space Center in Sofia, a 188,000+ square-foot facility capable of producing up to two 200–500 kg satellites per day.
Equipped with RF and mechanical labs, ISO-class clean rooms, and space qualification facilities, the new center enables scalable, high-quality satellite production — dramatically reducing costs and time-to-orbit for customers building satellite constellations.
“This latest investment, combined with the launch of our new Space Center, marks a pivotal moment,” said Raycho Raychev, CEO and Founder of EnduroSat.
“It validates our strong market traction and significantly accelerates our ability to deliver powerful, cost-effective satellite constellations at scale — moving us closer to a future where space data is universally accessible and instantly available.”
Simplifying Access to Space
EnduroSat’s mission is to democratize access to space by providing modular, scalable satellite platforms that clients can customize for Earth observation, communications, and research missions.
Its platform-as-a-service approach allows customers to deploy satellites and collect space data without the need to manage complex engineering or ground operations — enabling organizations to go from concept to orbit in record time.
With this latest funding, EnduroSat plans to:
- Expand production capacity for constellation customers;
- Accelerate time-to-orbit with faster delivery cycles; and
- Invest in advanced software and AI systems to enhance mission automation and data accessibility.
A Global Player in the New Space Economy
Today, EnduroSat serves 350+ customers worldwide and supports both LEO (Low Earth Orbit) and deep-space missions. The company has a growing team of 230+ engineers, scientists, and operators across six international offices, making it one of Europe’s most dynamic space tech ventures.
