SpaceTech startup Titan4 has secured €4 million in a Series A round to advance its AI-driven Earth Intelligence platform, which integrates satellite data, ground sensors, and climate models to monitor and protect critical infrastructure.
The funding round was led by CDP Venture Capital (Infratech and Corporate Partners I fund) with participation from Vertis (Vertis Venture 6 Digital South fund, co-financed by the EU’s NextGenerationEU program).
“This round is a turning point for Titan4 — not only a financial milestone, but also a strategic moment that strengthens our vision,” said Giovanni Quacquarelli, Founder and CEO of Titan4. “With the support of CDP Venture Capital and Vertis, we can accelerate development and expand internationally, building smarter Earth Intelligence tools to enhance the safety and resilience of critical infrastructure.”
A Boost for Europe’s Earth Intelligence Sector
Titan4’s Series A highlights a growing European focus on Earth observation and resilience technology, joining recent DeepTech raises such as EDGX (Belgium, €2.3M), UNIVITY (France, €31M), Look Up (France, €50M), Spaceflux (UK, €6.1M), OroraTech (Germany, €37M), and Messium (UK, €3.8M).
“We invested in Titan4 because of the strength of their vision and their ability to translate it into industrial impact,” said Claudio Bruno, Senior Investment Manager at CDP Venture Capital. “Their technology enables infrastructure operators to make more informed and timely decisions — contributing directly to national security, territorial resilience, and competitiveness.”
Monitoring Infrastructure from Space to Ground
Founded in 2019, Titan4’s Earth Intelligence platform provides continuous monitoring for bridges, dams, energy grids, water systems, and transport networks. By fusing satellite imagery, IoT sensor data, and AI analytics, Titan4 detects anomalies, predicts risks, and helps operators anticipate failures before they happen.
The platform supports public institutions, engineering firms, and infrastructure managers with data-driven insights that improve safety, efficiency, and cost management — while reinforcing climate resilience across critical sectors.
Scaling Innovation and Global Reach
Following its 2023 Seed round led by Galaxia and the National Aerospace Technology Transfer Pole, the startup will use the new capital to:
- Strengthen its presence across Italy
- Accelerate R&D and AI model development
- Expand internationally into key European and global markets
The company aims to establish itself as a global leader in AI-powered infrastructure safety and resilient Earth monitoring systems.
