Cybersecurity startup CBRX has raised €540,000 in pre-seed funding to enhance its AI-powered cloud security platform and expand across key European markets.
The round included investments from Coinvest Capital, Scalewolf, Plug and Play Tech Center, and Firstpick, underscoring growing investor confidence in next-generation cybersecurity infrastructure built for managed service providers (MSPs).
Enabling MSPs to become cybersecurity providers
Founded in 2023, CBRX helps MSPs transition into managed security service providers (MSSPs) quickly and cost-effectively. Its platform automates core security operations — including threat detection, incident response, monitoring, and reporting — allowing IT providers to deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity services without large security teams or heavy infrastructure costs.
“This funding allows us to accelerate an inevitable market shift: MSPs are evolving into MSSPs,” said Kazimieras Sadauskas, CEO of CBRX. “We’re helping them make that transition instantly — no upfront costs, no complex setup, and no need for expensive security experts. Backed by leading European investors
Coinvest Capital contributed €270,000 — marking its 80th investment and expanding its portfolio to 51 companies.

The funding will be used to expand across Europe, focusing on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and the Nordics, while advancing the platform’s AI-driven automation to improve incident management and reduce human error.
The company also plans to grow its engineering and AI teams, accelerating product development and scaling functionality to support a broader network of MSPs.
