Mannheim-based software company osapiens has unveiled plans to invest €35 million into expanding its operations in the United Kingdom.
This strategic decision will create more than 150 new jobs, supporting the UK’s growing demand for AI-powered transparency and sustainability solutions.
AI-driven compliance platform gains global momentum
Founded by Alberto Zamora, Matthias Jungblut, and Stefan Wawrzinek, osapiens is best known for its cloud-based osapiens HUB, a platform integrating over 25 software solutions to support corporate sustainability and compliance needs. The company currently employs over 500 people and serves nearly 2,000 clients worldwide, including names like BAT, Tesco, and DS Smith.
The UK investment marks a major step in the company’s international scaling efforts, which also include offices in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, and London. “Our expansion into the UK marks a major step in our mission to help companies meet sustainability and compliance goals through AI-driven innovation,” said co-founder and CEO Alberto Zamora.
Government backing and rapid business growth
The move has received support from the UK government. Peter Kyle, Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology, welcomed the announcement: “This investment from osapiens is a boon for the UK and our ambition to be a global powerhouse on AI-led innovation and growth.”
Osapiens has experienced remarkable momentum, doubling its Annual Recurring Revenue in Q2 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Armira Growth, the company added over 400 enterprise customers in the first half of 2025 alone.
Strengthening UK presence with local hiring and partnerships
The UK expansion includes investment in local talent and infrastructure to serve increasing demand. The company aims to play a leading role in shaping future-ready, compliant, and transparent supply chains across Europe, aligning with regulatory frameworks like EUDR, CSRD, and CSDDD.
Through initiatives like the Sustainability osapiens Summit and its knowledge-sharing platform osapeers, the firm is not only scaling its solutions but also fostering a strong sustainability community among professionals.
