
GetWhy, a Danish consumer research tech company, has secured €17 million in additional Series A funding.
The round was led by PeakSpan Capital, with continued support from Arbejdernes Landsbank. This expansion brings the company’s Series A total to one of Denmark’s largest to date.
U.S. market in focus as revenue soars
With 60% of its revenue originating from the U.S., GetWhy plans to open a stateside office in 2025. The move aims to deepen ties with current clients and tap further into the world’s largest consumer market.
Helping global brands unlock insights faster
Founded in 2011 and launching its AI platform in 2022, GetWhy offers a generative AI solution that extracts insights from video-based interviews. Major clients include Coca-Cola, Heineken, Nestlé, Adidas, and eBay. The platform promises to speed up insights gathering while putting real consumer voices at the heart of business decisions.
Backing from global investors
PeakSpan Capital, a U.S.-based growth equity firm with over $1.5B in assets under management, reiterated its confidence in GetWhy’s tech and leadership. The firm praised the startup for transforming how enterprises engage with customer feedback through AI and empathy-driven design.
On a mission to reshape an industry
CEO Casper Henningsen says the firm is “redefining the entire insights industry,” positioning AI not to replace jobs but to remove limitations. The goal: help companies run faster, richer studies and make smarter product decisions with human voices at the center.
