Creatify, a startup building an AI-powered video advertising platform, has raised $15.5 million in a Series A funding round co-led by WndrCo, the venture fund of DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg.
The company’s platform, AdMax, enables marketers to instantly generate dozens of video ads tailored for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Automated ad creation is heating up
AdMax analyzes high-performing social content and uses AI to produce variations designed to maximize engagement. This puts Creatify in the growing category of startups looking to automate marketing workflows—an area that tech giants like Meta are also targeting with AI-driven ad testing tools.
High-profile backers and a competitive space
Katzenberg’s involvement brings entertainment industry experience to the table, though his track record includes mixed bets—most notably, the short-lived video platform Quibi. Still, his backing signals growing investor confidence in AI’s role in reshaping digital advertising.
The company hasn’t disclosed additional investors in the round but says the capital will be used to enhance its technology and expand its go-to-market efforts.
