Dutch startup Aethon has secured €9.6 million in funding from Endeit Capital to help address growing staffing challenges in sectors like healthcare, education, childcare, and public services.
The Rijswijk-based company is using its proprietary platform, Aelio, to streamline how organizations plan, recruit, and manage their workforces.
An all-in-one platform for organizations and workers
Aethon’s Aelio system consolidates staffing functions—like matching, compliance, cost tracking, and performance monitoring—into a single interface. It also improves the job experience for workers through flexible scheduling and clear, accessible information on pay and expectations. Over 100 organizations already use Aelio to reduce time-to-fill and boost operational efficiency.
Funding to expand reach and integrate AI
The new capital will fuel the further development of Aelio, including AI-powered enhancements to staffing and training processes. Aethon also aims to lower employment barriers for those eager to work in public-facing roles by combining technology with on-demand learning.
Backed for impact
Endeit Capital highlighted company’s role in building a future-proof workforce ecosystem. “They’re transforming workforce management in a way that benefits everyone—from institutions to the professionals on the front lines,” said partner Martijn Hamann.
