PropTech startup Giraffe360 raised more than £13 million of Series A

Giraffe360, a PropTech startup, collects more than £13 million in Series A funding.

The London-based company’s developed a camera that allows property professionals to easily create high-quality photos, floor plans and virtual tours with minimal hassle.

The San Francisco-based venture capital firm Founders Fund led the financing for a number of high-profile companies in its portfolio such as Airbnb, Facebook, Spotify and SpaceX.

Delian Asparouhov, principal of the Founders Fund, said many tech startups lack the tools they need to push the boundaries of their technology. This means that non-mass market consumers also lack necessary tools.

Giraffe360 was an obvious choice because it provides both software and hardware solutions to users’ needs.

Additional investors for the most recent round included Change Ventures, HCVC (Hardware Club), LAUNCHub Ventures and Hoxton Ventures.

The startup Giraffe360 secured $6 million in additional long-term loans through Columbia Lake Partners, which is based in London. The decision was made in conjunction with their latest equity raise.
Giraffe360 CEO Mikus Opelts expressed his enthusiasm when working with Founders Fund. This VC firm has a strong record of financing companies that create new categories.

With increased funding from the new Giraffe Go Cam, users will be able to experience properties in a more immersive way online. People are increasingly interacting with locations via the internet.

With the release of COVID-19, there has been a significant increase in the number of people choosing to work remotely. Additionally, the public’s interest in virtual tours and wider immersive experiences thanks to computers has grown significantly.

Girefafe360’s goal is to bridge the gap between end users and their properties by providing greater understanding.
